The old max is from the end of January but we were on vacation for most of February and then I was in a boot for 3 weeks. I am hoping to make it through the next 6 weeks without breaks. So as some of you may know your body gets used to what you are doing so the workout that my brother gave to me changes every 2 weeks and is a 6 week program. So starting Monday will be the start of my new 6 weeks. So....

Excercise schedule for the Next 2 weeks

Mon and Thur
Warm up- 10-15 min of warm up cardio
Lower Body: 55 % of Max, 3 sets of 10-12 reps
Abs: Standing abs and Medicine Ball exercises at home
Cardio : 45 min- hour of Bike

Tue and Fri
Warm up- 10-15 min of warm up cardio
Upper Body: 55% of Max, 3 sets of 10-12 reps
Abs: Sitting abs, planks, leg throws, & in and outs
Cardio: 20 min on arm bike, and 25-40 min on tredmill

Wed and Sat
Cardio Days: Elliptical for hour - 1.5 hours and Exercise Video

I am going to be strict on my workout and staying within my calories.

Accomplishments: I lifted more than I thought that I would be able to and 30 min on Elliptical 3610 strides.

What is next: workout on Monday and establishing rates, intensity for cardio to make it easier to track and push myself more.

Words of encouragement: if any of you want to lose weight also. This will be a new spot I will but my words of advise to you when I post. So if my workout looks like too much for you remember I did not start here. I started working out 15-30 on a tredmill m-f at a speed of 2 and incline of 0 because I was in bed for 3 months for both of my kids ( 6 months out of a 24 month period). Find what works for you and then built upon it as you get stronger.

New Goals and 15 Minutes

Ok so my brother Jeramy is helping me with my workout. So we had a good talk yesterday and well. I just need to modify the workout slightly. I have set my new goals and plan to be more consistent this time. No more long breaks.

Goals: I like to make stepping stone goals.

1- be down to 220 by the end of the year
2- be down to 195 by My 27th Birthday.

If I am not able to get to my weight goals I would be happy being a size 12 pants and a medium shirt.

So 15 minutes. I am going to be adding 15 min to my cardio at the end of my workout and a 10-15 min warm up cardio before my weight lifting.

Accomplishment: went 3882 strides in 33:30 mins. I am now down to 252.2 which means in the last week I have lost 2.2 lbs. I will post my weight lose whenever I weigh myself, but I only compare from week to week.

What is to come next: Max out tomorrow and a more specific workout will be posted.

Little Accomplishments

I know that it has been a while since I last posted but then again my Sister is my only Follower. Love ya bird. Let see since I last posted I have gone down a pants and shirt size and I think I actually looked good in a dress. My little accomplishment was doing a mile on the Elliptical machine in 10:43. I was never that fast ever when I was in gym class in Jr High and High School.

I am down to 254 exactly. I am in a size L shirt and 18 size Dress and I and sure a XL pants(not positive since didn't try any on recently but 20's are really lose on me)

Unfortunately I didn't make my goal for 240 my Jonathan's First Birthday but in all honesty when I made the goal I was pregnant and was only 300 by the time I had my son I was 325. I have also come to the realization that I will not be hitting my second goal of 220 by My 26th Birthday. However I am not going to stop. I will just have to make new goals. Ideally I would like to make it to 199.9 by the end of the year. I will work on a new program and goals and will hopefully post it tomorrow or Saturday.

What is coming.... I am going to re-max out on Saturday and will post how far I have come.

Promise to myself

I know that most people do not like to share their weight with other people but I will share this information so that you can see Has Happened. I was 325 lbs when I had Jonathan. I am currently down to 255 as of today. I have been big for most of my life. I was 270 when I got married almost 6 years ago and was in between 300-310 before I even had kids. In an effort to get pregnant I got down to 295 but nothing seem to be working and I was frustrated. I spent 6 months out of 2 years in bed due to issues with pregnancy. I had lost a lot of muscle that makes it so that you can move and function doing everyday things.
I made a promise to myself when I weighed 300 while in bed pregnant with Jonathan. I was going to get healthy so that I can play with my kids and also to be around to watch them grow up. My promise or goal for myself was to get down to 240 by Jonathan's first Birthday. I have failed myself. I didn't work out during half of November, all of December and 2.5 weeks this year while we were in Disneyland. When I made the goal I truely thought that I would probably not even make it to 260 but I feel now that if I would have stuck to working out that I would have had no problem reaching my goal.
Do I Did IT-- I used my parents tredmill at first and struggled to get 1 mile in 30 mins. After working at building muscle back I was able to do 3-4 miles in 1 hour. I lost 29 lbs. Then I added workout videos and a navy seal work out that my brother gave me. I got down to 269. I then joined the gym 1/20/10. I felt confused and unsure as to what I needed to do to reach my goal. I talked with a trainer using their free session. I felt more confused. I spoke with my older brother and he customized a workout for me that was unsure if it would work. I did the first week and saw some results. We then went to Disneyland. Came home did week 2 of work out and lost 2 lbs. Week 3 it changed and Since Monday I have lost 3.5 lbs. I hope to at least make it to the 240's even if it is 249.9 by Jonathan's Birthday in 2 weeks.

To Start

I am starting this blog because I have had a lot of people ask me how I did it, what my progress is and that I am an inspiration for those that want to lose weight. I will post updates of pictures and thoughts about how things are going and hopefully help those that are feeling lost maybe get started on the path to success.
